PURPOSE: A lost article finding system with a location based service and AR(Augmented Reality) technology and a method thereof are provided to easily find a lost article by enabling a finder to easily notify lost article find information through the location based service and AR technology. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal of a finder transmits location information of the finder and information about a lost article to a management server in an application program activation mode. The management server builds a lost article information database. When a request signal for the location information and the lost article information is received from the mobile terminal of the finder, the management server transmits the location information and the lost article information to the mobile terminal.
