PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for assembling a balancer are provided to rapidly settle a shaft at a predetermined position because a shaft supported by first and second transferring devices accurately moves along a path of the transferring devices.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for assembling a balancer comprises a jig(60), a holder(70), and first and second transferring devices(80,90). In order to align the center of each through-hole of a gear, a mass, and a housing in a straight line, the gear, the mass, and the housing are arranged on the jig. The holder fixes a shaft to be inserted. The first transferring device inserts the shaft to the through-hole by pushing one end of the shaft fixed in the holder. The second transferring device is installed on the opposite side of the first transferring device and pushes the shaft toward the first transferring device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
