PURPOSE: A gear plate position aligning method and a device for an automatic recliner assembler is provided to reduce the number of workers and to the reliability of the quality and productivity of a recliner by accurately positioning a gear plate.;CONSTITUTION: A gear plate position aligning method and a device for an automatic recliner assembler comprise the following steps: adjacently positioning two adjacent sensors(20,20') to the concavo-convex parts(2,2') and rotating a gear plate(1); and stopping the rotation for aligning the position of the gear plate when simultaneously sensing the incomplete part(3) on one side of the concavo-convex part through one sensor and sensing the tip end of the other complete concavo-convex part through the other sensor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
