PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an active carbon electrode for an electric double-layer capacitor using nitrogen plasma and an active carbon electrode for an electric double-layer capacitor manufactured by the same are provided to remove remaining moisture and oxygen function group in activated charcoal using nitrogen plasma. CONSTITUTION: An electric double-layer condenser(20) comprises a unit cell(4) consisting of a separator(1) and electrodes(2,3) arranged adjacent to the top and bottom of the separator. A gasket-type packing(5) is arranged outside the unit cell and prevents the leakage of organic electrolyte form the cell. Aluminum collector layers are arranged on the other sides of the electrodes, not in contact with the separator. Collector terminals(8,9) are arranged on the other sides of the aluminum collector layers. End plates(10,11) are respectively arranged on the other sides of the collector terminals.
