PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a terminal-capped branch type polycarbonate resin is provided not to use organic solvent by using a melt-polymerization method, thereby being economic, and not to use phosgene, thereby being safe and environment-friendly.;CONSTITUTION: A terminal-capped branch type polycarbonate resin has weight average molecular weight of 30,000-200,000. The content of terminated hydroxy groups is 0-8 mol%. A manufacturing method of the terminal-capped branch type polycarbonate resin comprises: a step of manufacturing a terminal-capped carbonate oligomer by polymerizing an aromatic dihydroxy compound and diaryl carbonate; a step of manufacturing a terminal-capped linear type polycarbonate by melt polymerization of the terminal-capped carbonate oligomer and a linear polycarbonate; and a step of manufacturing a terminal-capped branch type polycarbonate by putting a branching agent into the terminal-capped carbonate oligomer and a linear polycarbonate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
