PURPOSE: A back light unit and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve contrast ratio and color reproducibility by using a quantum dot in a CNT(Carbon Nano Tube) field emission device. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode pattern is formed on lower plate glass(100). A transparent electrode(110) is comprised of a transparent conductive film having electric conductance. A barrier layer(120) spreads barrier wall material on the lower plate glass with a screen printing method. A gate metal layer(130) is formed by spreading gate electrode material after solidifying the barrier layer. A DFR(Dry Film Photo-resist) layer is patterned on the gate metal layer. The DFR layer is negative photo-resist. A gate metal pattern is formed by exposing and etching the DFR layer.
