PURPOSE: A bite supporting device for caliber cutting of a deformed bar rolling roll is provided to reduce the moving and the vibration of the upper portion of a bite holder by supporting the side portion of the bite holder by using a steady rest.;CONSTITUTION: A bite supporting device for caliber cutting of a deformed bar rolling roll comprises a support wall(11), a bite holder(20), and a steady rest(60). The support wall is installed in one side of the tool post(10) of a lathe. The bite holder is mounted in the tool post to be rotated and a bite(21) is inserted in the outer circumference of the bite holder. The steady rest is installed in the support wall and supports the bite holder by being contacted with the exterior of the bite holder.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
