PURPOSE: A method for detecting a poor quality storage battery is provided to improve the reliability of the storage battery for a distribution automation control box and to remarkably reduce inspection man power and time.;CONSTITUTION: A measurement unit(11) measures storage battery loads and a non-load voltage value for an automation opening and closing control box. A resistance unit(12) measures the stray voltages and voltage drop for the automation opening and closing control box by digitizing load resistance values corresponding to the staring current of the automation opening and closing control box. A load voltage measurement switch measures load voltages by measuring the load of the storage battery.
