PURPOSE: An aerudes japonicum reichib novel variety prins is provided to enhance value by having fragrance and being unique, thereby facilitating cultivation and mass producing entities having identical property. CONSTITUTION: An aerudes japonicum reichib novel variety prins is obtained by the interspecies cross of the aerudes japonicum reichib with Hygrochilus parishii and is asexuality-propagated by the tissue cultivation. The aerudes japonicum reichib novel variety prins has the following horticultural characteristics: pattern of the leaf: plain lobe in the emerald green natural disposition; luster of the leaf: exist; length of the leaf: 10-15cm; leaf width: 4-5cm; the number of leaves: 8-12 leaves; flowering top pattern: reddish brown speck in the yellow green color natural disposition; length of the flower stalk: 20-25cm; the size of the flower: width of 5cm and the length of 4.5cm; slope of the flower stalk: 15-30 degrees; flowering time: Feb.- May.; blooming times: 1 time a year; the number of open flowers: 5-10; manufacturing method: tissue cultivation; use of the species: for differentiation; and fragrance of the flower: exist.
