FAST RESPONSE TIME RTD FOR MEASURING THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE IN A NUCLEAR REACTOR

PURPOSE: A fast response resistance temperature detector for measuring the temperature of a coolant in a nuclear reactor is provided to weld a sheath with a protection tube, thereby increasing coupling power. CONSTITUTION: An elastic unit comprises a spring(208) and a stopper(209). The stopper maintains elasticity of the spring. A sensor unit includes a sheath(213), a tip protection tube(214), and a resistance sensor(215). The tip protection tube is combined with an end portion of the sheath. The resistance sensor is installed in the tip protection tube.
