PURPOSE: An inspection robot using a solar cell panel and a control method thereof are provided to improve the energy acquiring efficiency of the robot by orienting the solar cell panel toward the strongest light.;CONSTITUTION: An inspection robot using a solar cell panel comprises a body unit(31), a pair of wheels(33), a chaser(35), first to third light sensors(37, 38a, 38b), and a controller. The body unit accommodates the solar cell panel. The pair of wheels is installed in the lower portion of the body unit and driven by each actuator. The chaser is installed in the lower portion of the body portion of supports the body portion. The first and second light sensors are mounted in the both front sides of the body unit. The controller adjusts the direction of the body unit toward the strongest light.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
