COMPOSITE FIBER CONTAINING SHEAR THICKENING FLUID(STF) AND A SHEET FOR RELIEVING SHOCK USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A sheet for relieving shock using a composite fiber containing shear thickening fluid(STF) is provided to improve bulletproof, storage, and air permeability.;CONSTITUTION: A composite fiber of a sheath-core contains shear thickening fluid(STF,1) as a core and polymer resin(2) as a sheath. The crosssection of the core part is a circular or radial shape. The melting point of the polymer resin is 60-285 Deg. C. The polymer resin is polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, polyester, polylactic acid, acryl, polyoxy methylene, polycarprolatone, polyvinylidene chloride, and polyurethane resin. The STF is filled in a solvent and dispersing agent in a concentrate of 10 wt%. The solvent is ethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol. The dispersing agent is ethanol or methanol.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
