PURPOSE: A method for preparing a transgenic mouse for studying ephrin-A5 gene function is provided to lose or reduce ephrin-A5 function.;CONSTITUTION: A recombinant expression vector contains: ephrin-A5 promoter; a reporter gene which is placed at the downstream of the promoter and has recombinant sequences at both ends and 3' regulatory sequence thereof; ephrin-A5-Fc gene which is placed at the downstream of the reporter gene and a 3' regulatory sequence of the gene; and an ephrin-A5 enhancer placed at the downstream of the ephrin-A5-Fc gene.
