PURPOSE: A composition and a functional food containing Farfarae Flos ethanol extract are provided to suppress lung cancer cell growth and to effectively treat and prevent lung cancer. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating lung cancer contains Farfarae Flos ethanol extract as an active ingredient. The composition also contains pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or diluents. The lung cancer is non-small cell lung cancer.
