PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing inflammatory diseases and a diagnosis kit are provided to improve diagnosis accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing inflammatory diseases comprises: a step of isolating cell adhesion proteins in fluid into water soluble protein fraction and extracellular endoplasmic reticulum fraction; and a step of quantitating proteins in the water soluble protein fraction and extracellular endoplasmic reticulum fraction. The proteins contain ICAM-1(intercellular adhesion molecule-1), E-selectin, and VCAM-1(vascular cell adhesion molecule-1). A method for diagnosing inflammatory diseases comprises a step of measuring the expression level of gene existing in the extracellular endoplasmic reticulum of body fluid. The cell adhesion protein is ICAM-1, E-selectin, and VCAM-1.
