PURPOSE: An emergency ladder for an electric rail car is provided to rapidly and safely escape from an electric rail car in emergency situations and to facilitate the installation and arrangement of the emergency ladder with an effective foldable structure.;CONSTITUTION: An emergency ladder for an electric rail car comprises a ladder cover(100), a foothold(200), and a link(300). An upper bracket and a lower bracket are formed on the top and the bottom of one side of the ladder cover. Rotary brackets are horizontally formed at the inner bottom part of the ladder cover. A coupling hole is respectively formed on the rotary brackets to couple to one end of the foothold. The foothold comprises an upper foothold, a lower foothold, and a middle foothold. The link is formed in both sides of the upper, lower, and middle footholds to be rotated by connection pins.
