PURPOSE: A photovoltaic and fuel cell hybrid generation system and a control method thereof are provided to reduce the costs and size by decreasing the number of expensive inverters. CONSTITUTION: A PV DC/DC converter(210) converts a PV output voltage from a solar cell to a preset voltage. An FC DC/DC converter(220) changes the FC output voltage from a fuel cell to the preset voltage. A DC link unit(300) connects the output terminal of the FC DC/DC converter with the output terminal of the PV DC/DC converter. A DC link unit generates a DC voltage by linking the PV output voltage converted by the PV DC/DC converter with the FC output voltage converted by the FC DC/DC converter. A DC/AC inverter(400) converts the DC voltage from the DC link unit to the preset AC voltage.
