PURPOSE: An air compressor having an oil mist removing device is provided to prevent air pollution and the contamination of peripheral caused by oil mist because only air is discharged to the atmosphere by removing the oil mist.;CONSTITUTION: An air compressor comprises a filter box(2), a filter unit, and a cover(5). The filter box is mounted to be opened/closed in an oil injection hole(12) of a crank case(11) of an air compressor. A space for mounting the filter unit having an opened top part is formed inside of the filter box and an air inlet hole is formed in the lower central part of the filter box. The filter unit is placed inside of the filter box, thereby removing the oil mist mixed in exhaust air flowing in from the oil injection hole. The cover is mounted to be detachable in the top part of the filter box so that the top part of the filter box is covered and an exhaust hole is formed in the central part of the cover.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
