PURPOSE: A device for protecting a tap of a water dispenser from pollution is provided to prevent the contamination of a water tap when the water tap is hidden not in use. CONSTITUTION: A device for protecting a tap of a water dispenser from pollution comprises a water tap(130), a water tap accepting space, and a cap(120). The water tap is exposed to the outside of the dispenser body in order to supply cold water or warm water. The water tap accepting space is formed on the outside of the dispenser body and accepts the water tap. The cap is installed in the dispenser body in order to selectively open and close the water tap accepting space. The water tap accepting space connects to a cold water storage space or an ice storage space. An ice dispenser hole(111) is formed in the dispenser body. The end of the water tap is installed inside the ice dispenser hole.
