SYSTEM OF AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATING AND DISPLAYING AMOUNT OF EARTHWORK MATERIALS BASED ON THREE DIMENSIONAL DESIGN

PURPOSE: A system for automatically calculating and displaying an amount of earthwork materials based on a three dimensional design and a method thereof are provided to accurately and rapidly calculate an earthwork amount by automatically generating a 3D trigonometric network and boring data from a geographic measurement file and boring data. CONSTITUTION: A trigonometric network generating module(20) generates a topology/plan trigonometric network from original and plan topology data, and a boring data processing module(40) generates 3D boring data for each coordinate based on the boring data of inputted topology to automatically input the 3D boring data to the topology/plan trigonometric network. An earthwork material calculating module(50) automatically calculates excavation and a backfilling earthwork amount of materials based on the 3D topography/plan trigonometric network and boring data.
