PURPOSE: A device for an image measurement and a method for measuring the deformation of a civil structure are provided to simply sense the entire deformation of a structure and a marked point is not needed.;CONSTITUTION: A device for an image measurement comprises a digital camera, a yardstick rod(10), an installation rod(20), an installation rod fixing unit(30), a camera support unit(40), a first plate(50), a second plate(60), a third plate(70), and a horizontal degree adjusting unit(80). Unit marks are marked on the yardstick rod. The yardstick rod is installed in one end part of the installation rod. The installation rod fixing unit fixes the other end part of the installation rod. The first plate places the camera support unit and the installation rod fixing unit on a top. The second plate is joined to the first plate so that the first plate is rotated in the top of the second plate. The first and second plates are parallel to each other.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
