PURPOSE: A high efficiency horizontal centrifuge is provided to control the rotation of a vehicle speed control unit by sensing the variation of torque for a rail plate and a screw conveyor. CONSTITUTION: A rotary bowl(200) is rotatably inserted into a casing(100). A screw conveyor(300) is rotatably inserted into the rotary bowl. The screw conveyor transfers solid body separated from a sludge to a solid body outlet(120). A rail plate(390) is formed in a length direction of the rotary bowl. The rail plate prevents solid body slip in the inner surface of the rotary bowl. A vehicle speed control unit(500) controls the vehicle speed of the screw conveyor by connecting to the rotary bowl.
