PURPOSE: A multi-core processor system including a plurality of heterogeneous cores and a controlling method thereof are provided to simultaneously process two or more commands by equally operating a multi-core processor system including the same kind of cores and a multi-core processor system including a heterogeneous core. CONSTITUTION: A selecting unit(230) selects a core for executing a meta command among heterogeneous cores(210). The meta command is an upper command defined in a multi-core processor system. A converter(240) converts the meta command into a lower command executed in the selected core and transmits the converted command to the selected core. A temporary storage unit(220) receives and stores the meta command from a memory.
