PURPOSE: A complex for detecting fluorine ions and a method for detecting the fluorine ions using the same are provided to improve the detecting sensitivity of the fluorine ions by selectively detecting the fluorine ions from a specimen with various ions.;CONSTITUTION: A complex for detecting fluorine ions is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are respectively hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms, C1-6 ethoxy groups, nitro groups, nitrile groups, or imidazole groups; R3 is an aryl group, a phenyl group, a C1-6 alkyl group, or a halogen atom substituted C1-6 alkyl group; and R4 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an aryl group, a phenyl group, or a C1-6 alkyl group. A method for detecting the fluorine ions includes the following: the complex is introduced into a solution with/without fluorine ions; and the light emitting intensity of the complex is measured.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
