PURPOSE: A soybean-derived isoflavone amino acid derivative and a cosmetic composition containing the same are provided to improve collagen biosynthesis and to promote skin cell activity. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an isoflavone amino acid derivative comprises: a step of stirring a crude extract of soybean isoflavone using beta-glucosidase at 30-45C and pH 3-5 for 1-4 hours to converting isoflavone glycon into an aglycon with hydroxy group; a step of dissolving isoflavone aglycon in dimethylsulfoxide and adding amino acid of Gln, Asn, Gly, Val, Ile, Phe, or Lys; a step of adding Novozyme 435; and a step of stirring at 60-80C for 12-60 hours.
