FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to caterpillar forestry machine. Forestry machine comprises front and rear sections 2, 3, assembly of swinging axles 12 and caterpillar track 20. Front and rear sections are coupled by kingpin. Assembly 12 of swinging axles rests on chassis wheels 14, 15. Caterpillar track 20 runs around said wheels 14, 15 and auxiliary wheel 16 outside said assembly of swinging axles. Auxiliary wheel 16 runs in bearings at front and/or rear section so that when assembly 12 of swinging axles turns caterpillar track 20 is tensioned.
