FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molecular biology, genetic engineering and medicine. The disclosed method enables to determine the structure of representative probes for such type of microchips. For instance, the disclosed method enables to determine various types of the neuraminidase influenza virus A gene. The method is based on conducting a two-step polymerase chain reaction of the viral cDNA with subsequent hybridisation of the obtained fluorescent labelled amplicons with a DNA microchip containing corresponding discriminating hybridisation probes.
