1. A combination comprising a plurality of polynucleotides or proteins expressed from them, which are differentially expressed in animals exhibiting the lean phenotype resulting from one or more lean phenotype stimulating treatments comprising (1) administering CLA, (2) consumption of a diet high in protein, and (3) increased exercise, wherein the polynucleotides are selected from genes encoding proteins listed in Table 6 or Table 10, or fragments thereof. ! 2. A combination according to claim 1, wherein the polynucleotides are differentially expressed in each treatment, enabling the lean phenotype, comprising (1) administering CLA, (2) consumption of a diet high in protein, and (3) increased exercise, and the polynucleotides selected from genes encoding proteins listed in Table 6 or its fragments. ! 3. A combination according to claim 2, wherein the polynucleotides are selected from genes encoding proteins listed in tissue-specific subsets of Table 6 and are selected from Table 6A, Table 6B, Table 6C, 6D Tables, Table 6E, 6F Tables and Table 6G, or of their fragments. ! 4. A combination according to claim 2 wherein the polynucleotides are differentially expressed in adipose tissue and encode proteins involved in functions selected from the cholesterol biosynthetic pathway, statin path, adipogenesis, apoptosis, cell motility, mitochondrial betaokisleniya fatty acids, biosynthesis of fatty acids, fatty metabolism acids, glycolysis, regulation of cell proliferation, inflammation, immune response, and the response to stress, the development of a multicellular organism and regulation of apoptosis. ! 5.
