FIELD: control devices.; SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control devices for identification of the authenticity of the valuable documents and concerns the arrangement and method for controlling of the object anti-counterfeit element which changes brightness against the angle of observation; the device comprises at least one optical cell consisting of a pair of sources of light to illuminate one and the same part of surface of the object and the optical receiver of the reflected light, the electronic unit securing sequential switching of the light sources and synchronous readout of the information from the optical receiver by means of electronic keys and analog to digital converters, the microprocessor unit for collecting, saving and processing of the received data; one pair of the sources of light are located from the opposite side respectively to the optical axis of the optical receiver, incident angles of light beams coming from the sources located on the left and on the right are equal; the optical axles of the light sources and the optical receiver are located in the same plane and intersect in the same spot on the surface of the object; the optical axel of the optical receiver is normally located in respect of the surface of the object. ; EFFECT: invention allows to provide control of protection elements which alternate brightness, in the mode of high-speed sorting of bank notes and valuable papers.;6 cl, 4 dwg.
