FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of quality of materials and articles, namely, to determining air flow rate in filtration-absorption packages incorporated with individual respiratory protection means. Determination of airflow rates in performed as follows: calibrating the pickup (plotting the dependence of current interruption period upon airflow linear rate); designating zones on filtration-absorption face surface whereon measurements are made, measuring current interruption periods for each said surface zone, and defining air flow rate from calibration graph.;EFFECT: possibility to set airflow rate for whatever point on filtration-sorption face part.;2 tbl, 2 dwg
