The reciprocating piston mechanism comprises cylinders, which is arranged in a cylinder crankcase (24), and guides a piston, which is connected with a crankshaft (32) by connecting rods. The bearing shells (35) of the crankshaft are stored in the eccentric rings (36). A lubrication oil supply unit (33,34) is provided, which comprises an immediate transfer of lubrication oil. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying lubrication oil supply into a reciprocating piston mechanism.
