The engine has a selective temperature unit provided around a housing wall in a compression zone, and a rotary piston selectively and differently passing through an internal combustion clock to maintain moderate temperature in the zone, where a compression clock passes through the zone. A housing is cooled in a gas exchange zone. A heat flow magnification unit magnifies heat flow between the housing wall and combustion gas in an intense zone. Rotary piston-and/or shaft surface areas are formed by smooth surfaces, windage-reducing geometries and/or thermal isolating materials.
