Manufacturing component, comprises: (i) beam melting (preferably selective laser melting or selective laser sintering) raw material powder by using a process gas comprising helium and/or neon, to obtain the component; (ii) hot isostatic pressing the above obtained component for compacting the structure of the component; and (iii) precipitation hardening the above obtained component for increasing hardness and strength of the component. An independent claim is also included for the component manufactured by using the above method.
