The module (6) has an electromagnet for performing relative motion with respect to a contact plate (9) to bring two contacts (7, 8) at connecting position. A coil winding (11) of the electromagnet is connected in series to a limiting resistor (12). The limiting resistor is connected between the contacts, so that the limiting resistor is bridged by the contact plate when the limiting resistor is provided in the contacts at the connecting position. The limiting resistor is integrated in the module. The limiting resistor is arranged outside the module and formed with a structural unit.
