The motor vehicle has an internal combustion engine (10) and an intake system (14), over which the air is disposed by the internal combustion engine, where a compressor (32) is arranged in the internal combustion engine for compressing the air. A turbine (34) is arranged in the intake system downstream the compressor. The turbine is driven by the air compressed by the compressor. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.
