The method involves providing decision device to detect whether functional module is connected to an interface of the robot base. Several compatible types of functional modules are attached to the robot base by device interface in different manner. Specific functional module is tested based on the detected result of the decision device. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) robot; (2) decision device; and (3) robot kit system.
