The filter material comprises a textile material (1) provided with a fine-porous coating, and conductive fibers that pass from the textile material through the coating up to external surface of the coating and/or protrude out from the coating towards outside. The textile material comprises supporting fabrics (2), which comprise conductive fibers (5) and/or the conductive fibers originate from the supporting fabrics. The supporting fabrics are coated and/or needled on both sides with fleece, which has electrical conductive- and electrical non-conductive fibers (6). The filter material comprises a textile material (1) provided with a fine-porous coating, and conductive fibers that pass from the textile material through the coating up to external surface of the coating and/or protrude out from the coating towards outside. The textile material comprises supporting fabrics (2), which comprise conductive fibers (5) and/or the conductive fibers originate from the supporting fabrics. The supporting fabrics are coated and/or needled on both sides with fleece, which has electrical conductive- and electrical non-conductive fibers (6), and/or the supporting fabrics are coated and/or needled on the other side with fleece from non-conductive fibers. The supporting fabrics are arranged asymmetrically within the textile material. The conductive fibers are inhomogeneously distributed in the filter material. The density of the conductive fibers is increased for coating.
