The device (1) has a rotatable gantry (10) comprising two computed tomography recording systems, where the first system has a X-ray source (11) emitting a fan-shaped X-ray beam and a computed tomography (CT) X-ray detector (13) arranged opposite to the source. The second system has another X-ray source (12) and a planar X-ray detector (14) arranged opposite to the latter X-ray source, and emits another X-ray beam. The latter X-ray source and/or the planar-X-ray detector are mechanically supported and adjustable in radial and/or axial and/or lateral direction with respect to the gantry. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an X-ray diagnostic device.
