The method involves determining a stationary object lying adjacent to a route portion (102) or a mobile object located on the route portion. Acoustic guidance information is determined with respect to the route portion, where the acoustic guidance information comprises a reference to the stationary object and/or other acoustic guidance information comprises a reference to the mobile object. Information about characteristic feature of the stationary object is determined. Information about the stationary object is determined based on communication with an infrastructure outside a vehicle (100). The stationary object is a building, and the mobile object is a vehicle.
