Clutch for disconnecting drive unit utilized for parking assistance of power steering apparatus for driving e.g. steering spindle for vehicle, has bottom part whose drive torque is transferred to inner truncated cone
The clutch has an outer truncated cone (108) firmly connected with a steering spindle (101). A bottom part (114) is movably connected with an inner truncated cone (105). The cones are frictionally engaged with each other based on an arrangement of the bottom part with the inner truncated cone. The bottom part is moved relative to the inner truncated cone for transition from an arrangement in which cones are frictionally engaged to another arrangement in which cones are not frictionally engaged. Drive torque of the bottom part is transferred to inner truncated cone in the latter arrangement. An independent claim is also included for a power steering apparatus comprising a drive unit.
