Hydraulic clamping apparatus for compensating length of traction unit of traction drive of internal combustion engine of vehicle, has elastic and blocking elements combination arranged such that blocking element is pushed
The apparatus (1) has a spring-elastic element (16) e.g. pressure spring, arranged in a recess (14). The recess is formed and a combination of the spring-elastic element and a blocking element (17) e.g. ball and roller, is arranged such that the blocking element guided in the recess of a housing (2) is diagonally pushed toward the spring-elastic element against a driving out direction of a piston (6). The recess is formed as a cylindrical hole and a through-hole. The holes are bent relative to a longitudinal axis (7) of the piston.
