The arrangement (1) has a positive voltage sensor detecting positive voltage in relation to an anode potential of a battery (2). An electrical connection part between ohm resistors (R1-R3) is electrically connected with an anode (3) of the battery. The voltage sensor detects voltage on the resistors that lie between an end (6) of series connections and an electrical connection part of the series connections at the anode depending on battery voltage after switching switches (8, 10, 15) e.g. transistors, from a closed switching position to an opened switching position. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting battery voltage produced by a battery.
