The convertible top has a top linkage that is movable between vehicle interior closed position and vehicle interior release position and is provided at sides of link arrangements. Each link arrangement has link elements (22,24) and a closure unit (28) adjustable between locking and unlocking positions in closed position of the top linkage via locking hooks (32,34). The closure unit is provided with a latch hook engaged with one of the locking hooks which are driven by an adjusting device (48) and interconnected with a coupling device (42).
