The method involves connecting a diaphragm (2) with a frame element (3) by laser welding process. The frame element is formed of film material which contains thermoplastic film or mixture of adhesive layer and graphite, so that the diaphragm assembly (1) is formed as film composite. The diaphragm is protected by the film composite before the thermal damage caused by the laser welding process.
