Shock absorber for use in strut of stub axle of motor car, has damper foot for articulation of absorber to stub axle of motor vehicle, and damper foot including cavity that is in fluid communication with cylinder space
The absorber has a cylinder chamber (21) placed in a housing and including two end sides. A piston rod (22) is protruded through the end sides of the cylinder chamber and guided for longitudinal displacement in the chamber. A piston (23) is located in the end sides of the chamber. The piston rod separates a first cylinder space of the cylinder chamber from a second cylinder space. A damper foot (25) articulates the absorber to a stub axle of a motor vehicle. The damper foot includes a cavity that is in fluid communication with a third cylinder space.
