The handgrip (1) has manually actuatable actuator unit (3) for controlling functions of the bottom cleaning device. A transmission unit (5) transfers detected operations of the actuator unit in the form of control signals wirelessly to a reception unit which is arranged in or at a housing of the bottom cleaning device. A thermoelectric generator (6) has heat and cold poles (7,8) that are connected to handgrip and ambient/suction air stream. The thermoelectric generator generates and supplies energy to the transmission unit.
