The device (100) has a holder (90) holding a bimetallic strip (10). A base (11) of the strip is secured at a resiliently deformable leg (20) of the holder. An expandable metal sheet (40) of the holder connects the deformable leg with a fixed leg (30) of the holder. The holder comprises an actuation element (50) i.e. screw, that is connected to the sheet for expanding the sheet. The strip is tilted with the deformable leg such that a tip (12) of the strip is adjusted. The screw is turned at 90 degrees with respect to the strip, for deflecting the strip.
