The apparatus (1) has an inner container (2) that is provided with inner space (3) for storing to-be-cooled objects. A cooling unit is provided for cooling the interior space and a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is thermally coupled with component of main unit, during the intended operation of main unit. The wasted heat of compressor or heated air within machine space is provided to warm up the water, such that water leaving from output pipe of heat exchanger is warmer than supplied water of heat exchanger.
