The apparatus (1) has coolable inner chambers (3) e.g. freezing compartments, for storing of refrigeration material. A refrigerant circuit is provided with a vaporizer (9) for cooling storage material in a form of phase change material. The vaporizer and a heat exchanger (12) of another refrigerant circuit are thermally coupled. The heat exchanger and the vaporizer are directly abutted together. The vaporizer comprises a pipe thermally coupled with another pipe of the heat exchanger. The pipes are proportionately formed from metal or metal alloy.
