The method involves sending unique serial number of a railway vehicle (37) to a control center (31) which is set in bidirectional communication with the railway vehicle, and detecting current traveling direction of railway vehicle by evaluating the track polarity by control center. The command from control center is transmitted to the vehicle when the current traveling direction of vehicle coincides with preset traveling direction.
